Devon Smith headlines FNT after receiving a knock to his bicep at training, he is likely sidelined for one week of contact training.

Smith averaged 106.6pts in AFL Fantasy & 97.9pts in SuperCoach in 2018.

Steven May is expected to miss 3-4 weeks of training after sustaining a hamstring injury at training, the Demons are optimistic he will be ready for Round 1.

Lachie Fogarty will miss the start of the 2019 H&A season, he underwent hip surgery this week and has an 8 week timeline prior to running

Grant Birchall & Tom Scully are progressing through the pre-season, Birchall could be a target for fantasy coaches if ready to go at Round 1.

Sean Darcy could be a go as No.1 Ruck for Fremantle in Round 1, Aaron Sandilands is currently dealing with a calf injury.

“We would look to balance up the (Ruck) workload.. as it sits now Aaron has got a.. significant calf (injury).. he’s really struggling to overcome at the minute” Ross Lyon.

The Fremantle midfield is on the thin side early in the 2019 H&A season due to injuries to Connor Blakely & Stephen Hill, Ross Lyon gave his insights as what the early set-up could look like.

“Cerra & Conca will go through there (midfield) .. we’ve got some young Mids like Giro & Crowden.. we think Mundy will spend more time in the midfield”

Michael Gibbons & Matthew Cottrell have been signed by Carlton via the SSP, both will be added to relevant platforms in the near future.

Gibbons averaged 28.6 Disposals for Williamstown in the VFL in 2018, Cottrell averaged 13.1 Disposals for the Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup last season.
