Cleary reports that the Kangaroos made the approach after Greenwood was delisted, with the move confirmed on Monday.
He will join the Kangaroos as a delisted free agent.
Gold Coast now have an extra list spot, plus clear additional money form their salary cap.
FANTASY IMPACT: The Gold Coast centre bounce core group has an opening for the 2022 season, Greenwood was an integral part of the midfield mix at the Suns in 2021.
Matt Rowell should continue on an upward trajectory after strong centre bounce usage in the second half of 2021, Brayden Fiorini was used to cover for the injured Greenwood late in the year which could now parlay into consistent usage in 2022.
Lachie Weller could also see an increase compared to his 2021 usage.

As for Nth Melbourne, the midfield core group grows again with the addition of Greenwood. Expect his centre bounce usage to be solid at the Kangaroos in 2022.
This could limit the fantasy output for several other mids.
Greenwood is likely a pass in season long fantasy, there is potential upside based on his 2021 output.
His draft position could be volatile based on perceived value.
