Harrison grew up supporting the Crows, Patrick Dangerfield was one of his favourite players to watch.

“Dangerfield is a player I’ve always admired,”

“I grew up supporting the Crows and when he was at Adelaide I loved the way he played, he was really aggressive and he exploded out of the contest.”

“I aspire to play like him.” Harrison said post-draft.

2022 AFL Fantasy: Oscar Adams

Harrison averaged 25.2 Disposals, 6.0 Marks & 4.5 Tackles in the SANFL U18s in 2021.

Fantasy Impact: Harvey Harrison will add depth to the midfield group at the Magpies, he’s a contested type player that can accumulate disposals at a high rate.

He has good awareness in traffic & strong endurance, he can also hit the scoreboard.

The short term fantasy prospects for Harrison may only be moderate, he may see opportunities in 2022 but needs to develop physically in order to adapt to AFL level. His role early in his career is likely across half-forward.

The longer term prospects could be noteworthy, if he can fully develop a primary role through the midfield that would likely provide a strong scoring output.

Harrison is worth considering in season long fantasy if he can break through for opportunities in 2022 at Collingwood, it’s worth taking a keen interest in his development over the pre-season.

He’s likely a pass in single season draft leagues, he’s worth targeting in dynasty leagues just beyond the early selections. His contested type game should provide a decent scoring output through any type of midfield role.
