2022 AFL Fantasy: Jack Williams

Rankin averaged 11.7 Disposals, 4.0 Marks & 1.7 Tackles from 3 games in the NAB League in 2021.

Fantasy Impact: Lachlan Rankin will add outside depth at Sydney, he can play across a half-forward line but also as a running half-back/wing type.

He’s elusive in traffic & accurate by foot, he has good speed & reads the play well with good vision.

The short term fantasy prospects for Rankin could be moderate, he does need to develop physically but his ball use is exceptional so he may see opportunities in 2022.

The long term prospects are likely directly linked to his role, a role across half-back or even a wing should provide a solid scoring output.

Rankin would be worth considering in season long fantasy if he were to break through for a game in the 2022 season, keep track of his specific role at the lower level along with scoring output.

He’s a pass in single season draft leagues, he’s an option well beyond the early selections in dynasty leagues.
