Knevitt is a tall midfielder that has good endurance & an ability to accumulate disposals through his role.

He’s still pretty raw & could take time to develop his craft early at Geelong.

“Mitch has some versatility about him.”

“He’ll spend most of his time in the midfield, and he has the running capability to be a midfielder.” Geelong Recruiting & List manager Stephen Wells.

Knevitt averaged 24.3 Disposals, 4.7 Marks & 4.3 Tackles from 9 games in the NAB League in 2021.

Fantasy Impact: Mitchell Knevitt will add depth to the Geelong midfield, his ability to cover the ground with speed & endurance will be an asset.

He’s a strong overhead mark, athletic type with breakaway speed & works well in traffic.

The short term fantasy prospects could be limited for Knevitt, his ability to develop will be a key to his early career opportunities.

The long term outlook should be pretty decent, he may settle into a clearance type midfielder with the ability also to play an outside role.

It is likely Knevitt won’t be available at Round 1 in season long fantasy, he’s still a watch over pre-season to track his development.

He’s a pass in single season draft leagues, he’s an option just beyond the early picks in dynasty leagues.
