FANTASY IMPACT: Max Lynch averaged 61.5pts from 2 games for the Magpies in 2021, he scored a season high 68pts in Round 13 against Melbourne.

Lynch will see increased opportunities at the Hawks, he has the potential to hold down the No.1 ruck position in the future.

Despite the loss of Jon Ceglar, the Hawks still have decent ruck depth which includes Ben McEvoy & Ned Reeves, Lynch now has an opportunity to be part of the ruck mix in the short & long term.

Lynch is a consideration in season long fantasy at Round 1, it will be a salary based decision coinciding with what has to be a decent amount of security in the Hawks team leading into the 2022 season.

It’s worth monitoring Lynch over the pre-season for draft leagues, his draft selection will be aligned to his expected position in the Hawthorn team over the course of the season.
